It's unbelievable how ignorant or misinformed some Canadians are. Trudeau's government has increased 8 points in the polls since the tariff issue and his pro Canada rhetoric. It is the Trudeau government's open border policy that caused this mess, including the Fentanyl problem. It is important to review Trudeau's close ties to China and how China has infiltrated Canada to gain access to the U.S.
Trudeau's was following his father's footsteps when he visited China in 2016 to deepen ties and trade with China. He earned the nickname 'little potato'. More accurate would be little puppet.
Don't forget Trudeau's 2013 admission when asked which country he admired most. “There is a level of admiration I actually have for China because their basic dictatorship”.
China said they would destroy America from within and unfortunately progress has been made with infiltration into foundational institutions, like the 'WHO' as a prime example and Canada.
Fentanyl overdose is the leading cause of death for U.S. citizens aged 18 to 45. The drug, along with other synthetic opioids, accounted for roughly 69 percent of all overdose deaths in the United States in 2023, according to data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It is the same thing in Canada, but much worse.
Back to Trudeau and China, let is not forget his disastrous Covid-19 vaccine deal with China.
Trudeau's initiative to train the Chinese army in winter warfare tactics. Fortunately the army generals disagreed, but months later they were all accused of sexual abuse and were replaced. Still some exercises took place.
Chinese real estate developer Wei Wei was charged with operating a lavish illegal casino in Toronto. He had met with Trudeau twice and part of a delegation that donated $1 million to the Trudeau foundation.
2016 Trudeau announced four business deals with China including a joint venture between SNC-Lavalin Inc., China National Nuclear Corp and Shanghai Electric Group Co Ltd. to develop, market and build new nuclear reactors.
The U.S. refuses Canada's baby formula? Trudeau allowed a Chinese company to build a baby formula factory in Canada to take advantage of Canada's subsidized dairy industry and ship the formula back to China.
Trudeau refuses to oust two Chinese scientists in the Canada's top biological lab in Winnipeg despite RCMP urging and then covered up and did not release documents of the findings. Finally the RCMP took action as these scientists had ties to China military and leaked documents and viruses to Wuhan that they were also affiliated with. Why were Chinese scientists with these ties ever allowed to work there?
In 2021, Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council spending $4.8million to partner with Huawei Technologies in sponsoring computer and engineering research at Canadian universities. While top universities all around the world halted research with Huawei.
China’s Canadian consulates told Chinese billionaire Zhang Bin to donate $1 million to Trudeau-related causes — after which he would be reimbursed for the amount.
Trudeau government’s membership in the China-led Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, which has been described as “controlled by Beijing.
The Desmarais family’s Power Corp has significant investments in China. All former liberal leaders served for Power Corp and Senator Peter Harder one of Justin Trudeau's top advisors
Trudeau refuses to admit China genocide of the Muslim Uyghurs. Ottawa columnist John Robson wrote that PM Trudeau has a “willful blindness” to the evils of the CCP.
Trudeau ignored, probably encouraged China election interference. On Jan. 28 this year see Justice Marie-Josée Hogue’s final report into foreign interference in Canadian politics.
Fortunately under a lot of public and political pressure, such as the two Michaels problem Trudeau had to change his stance on China and China was not happy about the details of their relationship being leaked. In 2022 at the G20 Xi Jinping's threatening rebuke of Justin Trudeau was a rare and surprising move by the Chinese president. "Everything we discuss has been leaked to the paper; that's not appropriate," Xi told Trudeau through an interpreter.
However, the damage and China infiltration of Canada was already complete.
Because U.S. border security is so much better, major fentynal access points are Western Canada, Mexico and Panama. Fentynal and chemicals to make it are exported to Vancouver because there is little security, no port border police as common in the U.S. Chinese gangs and now Mexican cartels control production, distribution and work at and control the Vancouver port. Than launder money through casinos and real estate investments. A primary reason real estate is so expensive in Vancouver and Toronto that have most of the Chinese national population in Canada.
Many will argue that only 1% or some small amount of fentynal is seized at the Canadian border. That is because the border is so porous. Why else is Vancouver described as the Fentynal Capital of the world. See this July 2024 description by the U.K. Telegraph. Downtown east side Vancouver has gone complete 3rd world.
Opioid overdoses have become the leading cause of death for people aged 10-59 in British Columbia, and now account for more deaths than homicides, suicides, accidents, and natural diseases combined. The death rate in Vancouver stands at 56/100k. The only G7 country with anything close to a comparable rate is the United States, at 32.6 per 100,000 people.
Back in 2016 in regard to the Toronto illegal casino charges “The money moving through these underground casinos leads to huge profits for criminals that fund other ventures such as prostitution and drug trafficking,” York Regional Police said in a statement.
Canadian Leader, Premier Ebby in B.C admitted Vancouver has a China/Mexico Fentanyl problem.
A few years ago I read most of the 2021 book of Sam Cooper (and professor Charles Burton), an investigative reporter who spent considerable time over 10 years investigating Chinese influence and gangs in Vancouver. He worked as a investigative reporter with Vancouver Sun and Global news. His colleagues said his book was a waste of time but Willful Blindless came out in 2021 becoming a #1 seller. He has since went out on his own and you can find him at thebureau.news.
I highly recommend the book rated 4.5 to 5 on Amazon here.
Sam Cooper's book has made another resurgence with Trump's border war on Fentanyl. If Sam Cooper could find this all out on Vancouver, no doubt U.S. intelligence knows too.
With the renewed interest in the book and Sam Copper he has done many recent interviews. I strongly suggest this one by Daniela Cambone that you may remember from Kitco precious metals. It is from a week ago and 30 minutes long.
When I read the book I doubted anything would happen because Trudeau and then President Biden are compromised by the Chinese. Sam Cooper talks about the concept of elite capture of Prince Andrew, Hunter Biden with Chinese oil trading around the world. In a U.S. congressional report in 2023 it was revealed of China paying a huge sum to an entity close to Trudeau. No doubt China has aided in placing puppets in leadership.
The Liberal party exposure to China is Trudeau's biggest scandal yet to be uncovered. How else did Trudeau become one of the wealthiest politicians in the world?
Vancouver Port Wide Open
Canada has had no port police in Vancouver since 1997. In January 2024. B.C. Solicitor-General Mike Farnworth says the federal government should restore police to Canada’s ports to tackle transnational organized crime.
In September 2023 a new report about policing of Metro Vancouver port terminal facilities says there’s “literally no downside” for organized criminals to set up shop.
Why was a resolution in September 2024 to reinstate port police voted down?
“Right now, there’s nothing being done, and they’re trying to stop us from going ahead by trying to influence local government,” Mayor George Harvie said. “I’m really upset about this.” ............
“The whole issue is just receiving no attention from the provincial or federal governments,” he said. “Canada needs to get off its butt and set up a task force, or whatever they want to call it, just like they did with stolen cars.”
An example of small mindless at Canada's border is they more concerned what you buy in the U.S. like cigarettes, handbags and jewellery etc., instead of drugs and guns.
Trump Tariff Threats
It is very sad that it took tariff threats by Trump to finally get Canada to act on Fentynal. His election promise to clamp down on the border and drug trafficking is the simple reason for tariff threats, not some trade war Canadian politicians and their propaganda media try to portray. It is also part of the so called crazy talk on taking back control of the Panama canal. It is a major Fentynal access point and has become heavily influenced by the Chinese. The Chinese know the importance.
According to BBC, from October 2023 to September 2024, China accounted for 21.4% of the cargo volume transiting the Panama Canal, making it the second-largest user after the US. In recent years, China has also invested heavily in ports and terminals near the canal.
When Trump acknowledges China influence and taking back the canal they just call him crazy instead of doing any investigative reporting. I reviewed the treaties the U.S. has with Panama on the canal when they gave control to Panama.
The U.S. has the right to defend the canal over any threat of the impedance of shipping. U.S. warships take precedent over all shipping traffic in the canal. Trump could continue to make threats and send warships to the canal and be well within U.S. rights.
Taking back the canal or pushing the Chinese out is probably beyond U.S rights unless they make a real case that China is controlling the canal which I doubt. However, making threats and sending warships might make some waves, enough to get some changes. If China was ever to invade Taiwan, I have no doubt the U.S. under Trump would close the canal to Chinese goods under some war measure.
And on economic news Friday – Jobs and Scary Huge Increase in Credit
The US economy added 143,000 jobs in January, missing the forecast of 169,000. In January, most job growth happened in health care (44,000), retail (34,000), and government (32,000). The BLS also revised job numbers for November and December, increasing them by 100,000 combined. That is unusual because they have typically been revised lower. Birth Death Rate Model did not add any of the jobs and in fact was negative 105,000.
The BLS revised job numbers for the year, cutting 589,000 jobs from March 2024, but an earlier adjustment in August had shown a bigger reduction of 818,000. Either one is a large downward adjustment.
U.S. consumer sentiment has fallen to 67.8, a seven-month low as inflation persists and Donald Trump promotes various economic policies, including levying tariffs.
US consumer debt outstanding unexpectedly surged by the most on record in December, reflecting massive increases in credit-card balances and non-revolving credit. Total credit jumped $40.8 billion after a revised $5.4 billion decrease a month earlier, according to Federal Reserve data.
The share of borrowers who are only making the minimum payments was the biggest on record.
The delinquency rate has risen too, with some 3.5% of card balances past due by 30 or more days and 1.8% of accounts delinquent. Both figures are more than double the post-pandemic lows recorded in 2021.
To me this looks like a last ditch effort, grasping of straws by drowning consumers. The economic trends are not looking good for Trump and I am sure more bad news is coming.
Look at the huge mess coming that Biden and Janet Yellen left for Trump. Could it have been planned any better? As you can see, there’s a tsunami of Treasury debt that’s about to hit, nearly $10 trillion in Treasury securities that will have to be rolled over in 2025. A total far exceeding any other in history. What would have Harris and Yellen have done if Trump did not win? Were they counting on lower interest rates?
