I have lived in Canada all my life and in my late 60s have never witnessed a more pathetic, corrupt and damaging government. It is appalling. Once thought of as peaceful and a country with low crime, that is out the window. Crime is spirally out of control thanks to Trudeau's Bill C75 in 2017 and more recent Bill C5 in 2021. It basically condones criminals to be released on bail, low or no sentences and not sentence criminals if they are not white because that is racism. In my opinion, a criminal is a criminal, it does not matter what the colour of their skin is.
There is a new documentary film circulating called Canada is Dying. It is a real eye opener if you want to know why this country is falling apart. For example just 207 of the most prolific offenders in BC are responsible for over 11,000 altercations with police in just the last year alone. They should be in jail.
Trudeau met with the Italian prime minister at the G7 meetings and tells her that Canada has concerns over Italy's position on LBGT rights and that the G7 needs to support democratic rights. What a joke, this is the last leader in the world that should talk of democracy and the Italian PM basically rolled her eyes. Trudeau has zero respect around the world and when he says 'Canada' that is appalling because he does not represent Canada, only himself.
Trudeau relentlessly gets caught in scandal after scandal and scandals to cover up scandals. The guy should have been in jail a long time ago but I guess the legislation passed above will ensure that will not happen.
The latest scandal is Chinese election interference cover up that Trudeau said he knew nothing about it. This guy is the biggest liar there ever was.
The former CEO of the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation who accepted a donation linked to the Chinese regime told a committee he had not met with Chinese officials regarding the issue, but was presented with information that he in fact had.
Conservative MP Michael Barrett asked Morris Rosenberg if he had met with officials from the People’s Republic of China to arrange the donation, and he replied that it wasn’t the case.
Barrett said he was in possession of an access to information record indicating that Rosenberg met with Chinese consular officials on Sept. 24, 2014. “Does that jog your memory?” asked Barrett. Yes … Sorry about that,” replied Rosenberg, who was testifying before the House of Commons ethics committee on May 2. Rosenberg was at the helm of the foundation from 2014 to 2018.
Cue in wealthy property developer, Wei Wei who purchased a house in the GTA six years ago for $4.7 million. This was used as an illegal underground casino and was finally busted in 2021 after taking advantage of 2020 Covid lock downs to ramp up gambling. Just another Trudeau scandal. Wei wasn’t just making money in his new country, but also making connections. In May of 2016, he was photographed with Justin Trudeau at a $1,500-a-plate Liberal fundraiser attended by influential donors. He was also a member of a delegation representing a Chinese industry group that later met separately with Trudeau and one member of the delegation donated $1 million to the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation and the Université de Montréal Faculty of Law.
Trudeau was able to cover up the election interference for a long time, but the Canadian Intelligence Agency finally leaked information to the media, most likely in frustration because the Trudeau government would not act on it or even acknowledge it. Here is a hypothesis from another writer why Trudeau always hides things from the public and lies.
********************************************
“There are those who bemoan declining trust in our leaders. Here we see the damage that can be done by a leader who does not trust the public,” wrote correspondent Sam Dunning. “(Justin) Trudeau did not trust Canadians to know that the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) may have forked out $1 million in an effort to gain his affection:
that Canadian security officials believe a serving MP is a tool of Beijing;
or that Canadian voters of Chinese descent feel intimidated by the CCP in their own country;
or that visiting Chinese students were allegedly told by the Chinese embassy to go out and campaign for his party or be sent home for punishment.
But once you view Trudeau’s actions through the lens of him not trusting Canadians then all sorts of things become clear. Because why would you need to trust Canadians when you can trust yourself to govern your actions?

Finally with all the pressure on the Trudeau government over election interference, Trudeau started another scandal by appointing Special Rapporteur David Johnston in March to conduct an investigation. This was a joke because Johnston was a family friend and old ski buddy of Trudeau. Johnston commented there could not be a public inquiry because intelligence data was too sensitive for the public to see. Just another lie. Also more bias, Johnston’s key advisor, Sheila Block, reportedly made a total of over $7,500 in previous donations to the Liberal Party of Canada.
All federal opposition leaders and various national officials are criticizing Special Rapporteur David Johnston’s decision not to call for a public inquiry into foreign interference in Canada’s last two general elections.
Conservative leader, Poilievre told reporters in Quebec City that calling a public inquiry would’ve been “common sense” and accused the prime minister of only appointing Johnston as special rapporteur in order to “help Trudeau cover up the influence by Beijing in our democracy.”
“We know that Beijing interfered in two elections to help Trudeau win,” Poilievre said. “We know that Beijing gave $140,000 to the Trudeau Foundation with the express purpose of buying the love and the loyalty of Justin Trudeau.”
Johnston's actual report is quite a joke. What investigation asks the criminal if they committed the crime and takes their word for it? For instance: “I asked the Prime Minister and Ministers if they were aware of any orchestrated effort to elect a LPC minority. They were not. The Prime Minister pointed out that he is not briefed on matters that are not supported by reliable information.”
Again, “I asked the Prime Minister and other Ministers if they or their staff knew anything about money being transferred to federal candidates in the 2019 Election. They indicated that they had not heard anything about this until the media reporting. The Prime Minister pointed out that he is not briefed on matters that are not supported by reliable intelligence.”
Again, on May 5th, Trudeau said he had never been briefed in 2021 about the Chinese regime’s attempts to target MPs like Conservative Michael Chong. Trudeau said it was “clear that that information never made it up to the political level in my office, to me, or even to the minister of Public Safety at the time,” which differed from a few days earlier, when he said the information had never left CSIS. This jerk gets caught lying over and over and over again.
Now you wonder. why the Intelligence Agency leaked the info to the media?
This all accumulated with this news last week. Opposition parties have all voted in favour of an NDP motion calling on David Johnston to immediately step down from his current role as special rapporteur on foreign election interference. The motion passed by a vote of 174 to 150, with the Liberals and Independent MP Han Dong voting against it.
In March 2023, Dong stepped down from the Liberal caucus amidst allegations that he advised the Chinese consul general in Toronto against the release of Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig and helped the consulate interfere in the 2019 federal election. This election was only the second time in Canadian history that a governing party formed a government while receiving less than 35 per cent of the national popular vote, the first time being the inaugural 1867 Canadian federal election after Confederation.
Including Dong who just stepped down there are 5 members of the Liberal government with Chinese background all in the Toronto area and just 2 in the opposition parties. The opposition has more seats than the Liberals but just 2 of 7 members with Chinese background. I am not saying anything bad about these people but the numbers suggest they prefer Trudeau's Liberals.
The Conservatives, Bloc Quebecois, and NDP voted in favour of the non-binding motion in the House on May 31—introduced by NDP MP Jenny Kwan the day prior—calling on Johnston to “step aside” from the role and requesting the government “urgently establish a public commission of inquiry.”
I seriously doubt the Liberals will call a public inquiry because it would prove there was Chinese election interference to help elect them. If so there should be a non-confidence vote to dissolve parliament and call an election. In the past, this has failed because NDP leader Singh and his party backed the Liberals. How can they this time when they all voted for the public inquiry? Who knows, we are dealing with a party that will create a new scandal to cover up the current one. Trudeau makes Nixon and Watergate look like child's play.
Just another example of the corruption of this government. Irresponsible spending by the Office of the Governor General at Rideau Hall has caused outrage. During debate on “Main Estimates,” a budget document proposing to spend $24.3 million at Rideau Hall in 2023. Opposition MP Kelly Block sponsored a motion that called for the appropriation to be reduced by $136,986.
The proposed amount is equivalent to Governor General Simon’s charges for 16 months’ worth of clothing expenses. It would also include the in-flight catering she received during a 2022 trip to Dubai, which cost over $100,000. That must have been an awesome meal. Block noted Simon is currently paid a salary of $324,173 a year. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the base salary for the position increased from $302,800 per year in 2019 to $342,100 in 2022.
“The governor general’s extravagance is obviously something Canadians find unacceptable and we as members of Parliament must act to curtail this outrageous extravagance,” Block said.
And lets not forget the China Covid Vaccine scandal. Canada was the only western country to work with China on a vaccine. Trudeau made a deal with CanSino — a company funded by Beijing and producing its vaccine with the People’s Liberation Army. Trudeau gave them Canadian bio technology and $10s of millions so China would send Canada vaccines. China reneged, keeping the technology and $$ and Canada got nothing. China said shipping rules had changed, what a joke.
Because the China vaccine boondoggle, Canada was way behind getting shots so Trudeau made secret deals with big Pharma. Parliament called out the Trudeau government to see these secret deals, but Trudeau said they had to sign and pledge non disclosure, so the public and everyone else would not know. Trudeau has 90 million shots coming into Canada for 2023. That is almost enough for 3 shots each for every man, woman and child in the country. Most everyone will not take the poison anymore but how much is that costing taxpayers? What is Pharma making on these secret deals and what are government kick backs?
This secrecy leads many to wonder — what was in those contracts?
Members of Parliament in the House of Commons are asking to view the billions of dollars worth of contracts between the federal government and COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers — but only those willing to sign NDAs are being permitted.
That was the scandal Trudeau was being called out on before the election interference scandal came to light in the past two months.
Another scandal just coming to light is Government funding to SFCGM for secret Chinese police stations in Canada. They use these to coheres Chinese nationals to vote for Trudeau. The RCMP believes that SFCGM may also be hosting one of two alleged secret Chinese “police stations” in Quebec.
Going back, don't forget the SNC Lavelin scandal and at that time Trudeau firing the Attorney General Jody Wilson because she would not go along with Trudeau's BS story on SNC.And the We Charity used to funnel government money to his family. The Trudeau government wanted to train the Chinese army on winter war tactics and when the generals refused, suddenly sexual harassment claims were made upon them and they had to resign. Just another scandal that is not uncovered yet.
There is more and I know that all government is corrupt to some extent but this guy has taken it to a whole new level. And there is many more that will come to light. I wonder which one it will be to detract from the Chinese election interference scandal??
This will help him control his scandal narrative even more. Now that the Online Streaming Act (Bill C-11) has been given Royal assent and become law, the internet is recognized in law to be broadcasting in Canada. That means the CRTC is obliged to ensure internet “programming” meets aspirations such as serving to “safeguard, enrich and strengthen the cultural, political, social and economic fabric of Canada,” which is either harmless or heading to totalitarianism, depends who you trust to interpret that phrase. Right now, that’s nine commissioners appointed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s cabinet. What do you think?
Trudeau now fast tracking millions more refugees into Canada and is stream lining citizenship so he can get their votes in the next election. The federal government spent over $128 million between April 2017 and February 2023 on accommodations for asylum seekers who illegally crossed the border at an unofficial entry point on Roxham Road in Quebec, according to federal figures released on May 3.
And a few more tidbits of tax, spend, corrupt.
Justin Trudeau’s second carbon tax, set to take effect July 1, will soon be costing Canadian families more than $1,000 per year.
Trudeau’s proposal to increase air travel security fees by 33 percent will cost passengers more than a quarter billion dollars next year, according to estimates from a report by the Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO).
Canada is set to become the first country in the world to require tobacco companies to print health-warning labels directly on individual cigarettes in a bid to make more Canadians quit smoking. But the NDP government legalizes cocaine, fentanyl and meth in BC, oh don't smoke though and we will fine you if you are caught drinking a beer on the street.
It use to be 'god save the queen' now it is 'god save the king'. What we really need is 'god save Canada.' I don't know who else can? Maybe Lee Harvey Oswald if he was alive.
