You should do your own DD and also consider if any investment suits your portfolio and risk profile. I cover a lot of mining and oil&gas stocks that can easily fluctuate 10% to 30% in both directions in a matter of months, so they can be roller coasters.
Of the stocks I follow, I don't know of any that have seen a big decline recently, other than a natural gas stock, Birchcliff Energy. In general the mining and energy sectors have been very bearish, but I believe we are at a bottom looking up
